Saengthit Kamlangchai is a young Thai film-maker specializing in time-lapse videos. He recently release the videos that he filmed from three different locations, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket and, in each case, Saengthit has described the production process from start to finish. Now again he released video from Chiang Rai province in the North. He uses two basic techniques, time-lapse in which still pictures of the same scene are taken every few seconds and hyper-lapse in which the camera shifts position during the shooting.
Generally, time-lapse videos are extremely time-consuming to make. For this video, Sangthit says it took him 20 days to film, and taking 30,000 photos, among this number 12,900 were used in the final product which is a 5-minute tour of Chiang Rai province.
In the film, you will see a beautiful view of Phu Chi Fah and Ma Salong and a few after-sunset twilight scenes of Chiang Saen city. Light displays at The White Temple and The Clock Tower are just spectacular. Make sure you set the video for HD.
